this is the step-by-step procedures of how i've done my recent artwork!!!
this isn't a tutorial or anything... i just want to share the process i've undergone~ btw, everything is done in SAI aside from the patterns on the clothing and background, which were downloaded from DA

Step 1: lineart (used a color other than black)
Step 2: added base colors
Step 3: added shading and patterns on clothes
Step 4: added the background pattern and shadows
